For the draw-out type, the ConVac vacuum contactor is fully dimensionally compatible with the VSC. The only difference is that the front panel of the ConVac protrudes slightly more than that of the VSC (by approximately 10-15mm), as shown in the figure below.
This may lead to interference between the middle cabinet door and the ConVac panel—resulting in the door failing to close—if the internal clearance of the original cabinet door is insufficient after replacing with ConVac. Therefore, it is necessary to verify that the clearance between the original VSC contactor (in the test position) and the cabinet door is more than 15mm when the door is closed; if so, the replacement with the new contactor will be completely feasible. In addition, customization is required for the secondary circuit based on the specific model and configuration of the contactor, to accommodate the existing differences.
