Solid State Switch 10A 25A 40A 60A 80A 90A 100A 120A SSR DA/DD/AA Single Phase Solid State Relay

Product Description

A Solid State Relay (SSR) is a device used for electrical power control. Unlike traditional electromechanical relays, an SSR does not contain mechanical moving parts; instead, it uses solid-state electronic components to achieve circuit switching. Key features of solid state relays include:
No Mechanical Parts
SSRs lack mechanical contacts or moving parts, enhancing their lifespan and reliability by eliminating mechanical wear and contact issues.
Fast Response
Due to the absence of mechanical movement, SSRs can switch at very high speeds, completing switching operations within milliseconds.
Low Noise and Vibration
SSRs do not produce arcing or mechanical vibration, resulting in minimal noise and vibration during operation.
High Insulation
SSRs typically offer high insulation between input and output, isolating the control circuit from the controlled circuit and reducing electrical interference and risks.
Good Corrosion Resistance
Because there are no mechanical contacts, SSRs tend to perform well in humid and corrosive environments.

How to Choose a Solid State Relay?
STEP 1
Choose a correct type for current
  • For Resistive load: Current of SSR = 2 x working current of load
  • For Inductive load: Current of SSR = 6 x working current of load
  • For Capacitive load: Current of SSR = 10 x working current of load
STEP 2
Choose a suitable heat sink
  • When SSR is working, it will give out a lot of heat. To extend the life of your SSR, please install a heat sink. If the current is over 60A, a cooling fan is also required.
  • Apply heat-conductive silicon grease between SSR and heat sink.
Attention
  • 1. Use fast fuse to protect SSR from load short circuit.
  • 2. The temperature of heatsink at use must remain below 80°C.
  • 3. It is recommended to use a varistor for inductive loads.
Features
  • Built-in TVS to protect triac.
  • With LED indicator.
  • Zero-cross or Random turn on.
