Product Application

SAC series intelligent air circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as "circuit breakers") are suitable for distribution networks with AC 50/60 Hz, rated operating voltage up to 400 V~1140 V, and rated operating current from 200 A to 6300 A. They are used for power distribution and line protection, protecting equipment against damages caused by faults such as overload, short circuit, undervoltage and earth fault.

Equipped with communication and intelligent protection functions, the circuit breakers can accurately realize selective protection between upper and lower levels, improve power supply reliability and avoid unnecessary power outages. The circuit breakers also feature an isolation function.

Circuit breakers with rated operating current of 630 A and below can also be used in 50 Hz, 400 V AC distribution networks for motor protection against overload, short circuit, undervoltage and earth fault. Under normal conditions, they can also be used for infrequent motor starting and stopping.

Normal Service Conditions

• Ambient air temperature: -40 ℃ ~ +60 ℃, average value within 24 h ≤ +35 ℃;
• Altitude of installation site: not exceeding 2000 m;
• Relative air humidity: ≤ 50% at +40 ℃; higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures (e.g., up to 90% at 20 ℃). Special measures shall be taken against condensation occasionally caused by temperature changes;
• Pollution degree: Class 3;
• Installation category: Class IV for the main circuit; Class III for other auxiliary and control circuits (except the undervoltage release coil and the primary coil of the power module for electronic release, which are the same as the circuit breaker);
• The circuit breaker shall be installed in places free from explosion hazards, conductive dust, and corrosive media to metals or insulating materials;
• Vertical inclination of installation: not exceeding 5°;
• The circuit breaker is installed in the compartment of the cabinet with a door frame, reaching IP40 protection degree.
